We simulated an automotive transducer interface for a customer during a recent circuit development. The transducer produces a wide output voltage and frequency signal in a typical noisy automotive environment and it was important to extract accurate phase information over the full operating range. The schematic above shows and advanced model including a transconductance amplifier and three operational amplifiers. A sample output plot below shows the input waveform in red and the output in blue. The phase information is very accurate at this frequency and the gain control response can be clearly seen.
Plots such as these form part of the documentation for design reviews with our customers. If required, the plots can be e-mailed quickly to the customer for rapid evaluation. |
